Wouter van der Meij
Partner and Business Technology consultant
Vacancy
As a Senior Business Technology consultant at Quatronic, you are responsible for the customers’ success. You are ultimately responsible for multiple projects and think about how projects for customers can best be arranged. In addition, you have strategic responsibility for your own (and other) accounts, such as finding time for new projects. You also ensure that the junior and Medior colleagues who supervise the projects do this well. You guide them in the field of content and technology, but also in the field of important consultancy skills, communication with clients, and professionalism.
In addition, you are involved in projects, usually with two or three colleagues and some customer employees. You are involved from beginning to end and have a coordinating, managing role. In terms of content, you mainly focus on devising functionalities and their architecture.
You are also involved in internal matters, such as the (further) development of the proposition and the strategy of the company, both towards customers and towards employees. For example, you think about how employees of Quatronic can develop themselves optimally. In addition, you focus on sales and customer communication; how can this be improved or made more efficient?
On Mondays to Thursdays, all Quatronic consultants work at or for customers; on Fridays, everyone works for Quatronic. Then everyone is busy with personal development, knowledge sharing, developing new propositions for customers, organising events or preparing a sales meeting. In this position you work on average two days for Quatronic and three days for the customer.
If you enjoy solving complex, technical challenges using low code solutions to make them more accessible, and find it challenging to actively shape Quatronic, then this is a job for you.
Working week
Remco Snijders
On an enjoyable day, I have a brainstorming session with a customer and review colleagues' work so that they can get on with it. The rest of the day, I work on a complex new functionality that needs to be built into a customer's current application.
During a less enjoyable day, I am busy with project planning. I have to make it clear to the customer's key stakeholders that the scope of the project has changed, which means it has to be run longer. Even though this is necessary for a good roll-out for the product, it is a challenge to communicate this flexible way of working properly.
