Vacancy
As a Project Manager at IMS, you are responsible for realizing high-tech production solutions for clients. Together with your team, you are accountable for the successful execution of projects, ensuring efficient project implementation in accordance with the quality system.
You work on multiple projects simultaneously, varying in size and budget. For larger projects, your focus is primarily on one project. For smaller projects, you typically manage multiple projects at the same time. On average, you work on three to four projects concurrently, with an average duration of about a year.
The key tasks within the projects include monitoring the scope, keeping track of specifications, deliverables, planning and budgeting, and communicating with the client. You provide daily leadership to the project teams, consisting of at least one Project Manager, a Mechanical Lead Engineer, a Control Lead Engineer, and a Builder. Together with your team, you collaborate closely with partners and suppliers to ensure that production solutions are delivered according to the customer's requirements.
If you enjoy working with complex high-tech machines and find it challenging to brainstorm creative solutions with your team, then this is the job for you.
Working week
On an enjoyable day, you enjoy the success of a successful design review with a satisfied client, where the technical solution meets the specifications and stays within the allocated budget. You witness the client's happiness with the outcome.
On a less enjoyable day, there are setbacks in the project progress, which may result in budget overruns or schedule delays. The client is unhappy with these issues, requiring you to demonstrate patience and persuasive skills.
