Vacancy
Acquisition based on this advertisement is not appreciated. We usually fill the vacancies ourselves and in exceptional cases we work with preferred suppliers.
As a Senior Recruiter at EuroSort, you are responsible for the entire recruitment process, from vacancy intake to contract offers. Together with Hiring Managers, you discuss the job posting and try to understand exactly what they are looking for, as well as the responsibilities and duties of the position. Based on this vacancy intake, you create a job profile. Then, you approach (latent) job seekers through personal InMails and phone calls, as well as through LinkedIn Recruiter Seat. You also think about other ways to excite the target audience, such as attending job fairs and placing advertisements.
You are the first point of contact for applicants, and you select potential candidates based on personality and competencies. You conduct introductory meetings in which you discuss the organization and the role being applied for. While searching for candidates and conducting interviews, you continuously refine the Hiring Manager's expectations. You advise Hiring Managers and ensure clear expectation management about what is and is not possible. Once a suitable candidate is found, you negotiate the employment terms and ensure that a contract is offered.
As a Senior Recruiter, you are responsible for recruiting not only operational functions but also for recruiting HBO+ functions. You also guide Junior Recruiters within the team. Additionally, strengthening Employer Branding and Talentpooling falls under your responsibility.
You are part of the Recruitment Team, along with another Recruiter. You also work closely with HR Advisors, to whom you report.
If you like to make people enthusiastic about EuroSort and bring them into the organisation, and you don't mind that an application process doesn't always turn out the way you had hoped, then this is a job for you.
Working week
On an enjoyable working day, your responsibilities vary: you conduct a successful introductory interview and together with a Hiring Manager you draw up a new job profile.
On a less enjoyable working day, you have to update a lot of administration and you are told that a candidate has accepted an offer elsewhere. This is hard to swallow, but it's part of the job.
