Vacancy
Acquisition based on this advertisement is not appreciated. We usually fill the vacancies ourselves and in exceptional cases we work with preferred suppliers.
As a Product Coordinator at EuroSort, you are responsible for implementing, securing and maintaining the product portfolio. This product portfolio consists of the three generic sorting machines and all specific components and systems. You mainly have a coordinating role, but are also partly involved with the implementation.
You work closely with Product Engineers and R&D Engineers. In consultation with them, you are presented with a problem concerning a machine that needs to be solved. You discuss the possible solutions and then either start drawing or delegate this to your colleagues. What you deliver varies: sometimes it is just a production drawing, sometimes it is a calculation model or marketing information for a brochure. You delegate in-depth concept developments to the R&D Engineers; then you coordinate and ensure that everything is delivered on time.
You are part of the Tech team, which is managed by the Manager Tech. The team also consists of Products Engineers, R&D Engineers and another Product Coordinator.
If you like having a lot of contact with both colleagues in the office and in the workshop, and you find it interesting to find solutions to technical problems, then this is a job for you.
Working week
On an enjoyable working day, you are modifying an existing product, while you are also offering support to another department that has questions about products.
On a less enjoyable day, you run into a problem during a test. Since you are responsible for the problem, you need to get the right parties together to solve it.
