In System Standards, you ensure the setup and management of standard subsystems based on the modules from Product Engineering. You are responsible for establishing and monitoring KPIs. You work closely with various departments such as Business Development, Projects, and Sales Engineering to ensure all processes run smoothly. Moreover, you are responsible for developing CTO/Smart customization initiatives and translating business strategies into concrete action plans for products and systems.

You are closely involvend in the departement for Product Engineering and System Standards . The Product Engineering team focuses on creating and managing product modules, while the System Standards team is responsible for implementing and securing system standards. Both teams work closely together and are essential for the quality and continuity of products and systems. Together with your team members, you strive for continuous improvement and innovation within the organization.

Manager Product & Systems

On an enjoyable workday, you have insight into the achieved results thanks to the applied products and system standards within the sales and project departments. You discuss these successes with your team and jointly look for ways to implement further improvements.

Firsthand experience

There is a problem with a used subsystem in an active project that has been defined by one of your departments. What do you do?

First, you bring all involved stakeholders and departments together to thoroughly discuss the problem. During this consultation, you identify the exact issues and determine whether they stem from not following instructions and setup, or if there is an error in the system standard itself. It is important to clarify the causes and responsibilities at this stage so that everyone understands what went wrong and why. After identifying the cause, you take action to resolve the issue. If it appears that instructions and setup were not followed, you guide the involved teams and ensure clear communication about the correct procedures. If the problem lies in the system standard, you adjust it to prevent future recurrence. Subsequently, you organize a retraining for all relevant departments to ensure everyone is aware of the updated standards and procedures. This process not only helps resolve the current problem but also improves the overall quality and reliability of systems within the organization.

Why did you decide to work for this company?
With a predilection for technology, I have always been looking for a working environment in which I have to deal with multiple techniques. At EuroSort, various systems come together in the control of the sorting installations. From controlling various sensors, actuators, motors and servo drives, to communication between different systems, such as servers, HMI and cameras.

What was your previous job?
PLC Software Engineer IA.

What do you do in your spare time?
In my spare time I enjoy doing water sports or hiking.

Marco Vonk - Purchaser

Why did you decide to work for this company?
I started in 2011 as an Engineer at EuroSort. In addition, I did project-related purchases. Due to the dynamic growth of EuroSort, I have gradually started to concentrate and professionalize myself more in the field of purchasing. Partly because the organization feels great, from which we get satisfaction together, this is a huge stimulus to develop myself further and to keep the enthusiasm high. This is an advantage of EuroSort for me!
