Vacancy
Acquisition based on this advertisement is not appreciated. We usually fill the vacancies ourselves and in exceptional cases we work with preferred suppliers.
As an Assembly Employee at EuroSort, you are responsible for the assembly and mounting of various parts for sorting machines. Think of frames, carriers and sub-assemblies. You do this together with your team on the basis of supplied drawings.
Theoretically, there are four different types of sorting machines; all built slightly differently depending on the customer’s wishes. A machine is usually built in a few weeks. You do this in teams, where everyone works on a different part. Quality control is also an important part of your work: you check your team members’ work and vice versa. You do this using a checklist and work instructions. At the end of the day, you make sure the workplace is tidy and clean.
You are part of the Assembly team, which consists of about twenty colleagues. The team is managed by the Workshop Head and three Supervisors.
If you like to be technical and find it a challenge to finish machines before the deadline, then this is a job for you.
Working week
On an enjoyable working day, you and the team have ensured a machine is finished timely and can be transported to the customer.
On a less enjoyable working day, there is a major error in the construction drawing preventing you from continuing with your work. You decide to start on another part, but it feels annoying when you can't finish something.
