Vacancy
As a Housekeeping Supervisor at DoubleTree by Hilton Amsterdam Central Station you are responsible for the quality of the cleaned rooms and public areas of the hotel. Together with other Housekeeping Supervisors you manage a large and very diverse team of Room Attendants. They clean the rooms and public areas of the hotel on the basis of training and a checklist. You ensure that the quality of their work is in order by checking this and providing additional explanations where necessary. You work in different shifts: the morning shift from 06:30 to14:30, the afternoon shift from 10:00 to 18:00 or the evening shift from 14:30 to 22:.30.
During the morning shift you go through the planning for the day, you contact the reception and you check whether there are any special details in the morning report. At 08:30 the Room Attendants will arrive and you will have a short briefing in which you go through the details of the day. When you work the evening shift, you fill in the day report at the end of the evening and send in the hours of the Room Attendants to the Office Coordinator. You are part of the Housekeeping team, which consists of Housekeeping Supervisors, Floor Supervisors, the Room Attendants and the Office Coordinator. The team is managed by the Housekeeping Manager and the Assistant Manager.
If you enjoy managing a large group of colleagues, and see a challenge in working with employees of different nationalities, then this is the job for you.
