Firsthand experience

A guest asks for advice and indicates that he would like to have vanilla ice cream served with his apple pie. Unfortunately, this ice cream flavor is not available. What do you do?

It is important that you always remain friendly and understanding towards the guest. You explain that the apple pie is currently served with homemade whipped cream and ask if this is also a good option. If this is not the case for the guest, advise on other desserts and satisfy the guest in this way.

Growth

Various training courses are offered by the hotel. This can vary from social hygiene and food safety trainings, to a wine course or a first aid course. Whatever may pique your interest, may just very well be in the books for you.
